With its heavenly sweet fragrance, vanilla extract plays a prominent role in the production of foods, perfumes and pharmaceuticals. Vanillin, the key aromatic component of vanilla, is the most important flavouring worldwide, at least in terms of quantity.

The origin is decisive

The essence of vanilla is obtained from fermented vanilla pods. Most of the vanilla pods that we process come originally from the islands of Madagascar and Réunion. Nowadays other production regions in Indonesia, Africa and Mexico have reached approved sourcing status as well.

We cooperate exclusively with selected contractual partners who deliver high-quality source product in a sustainable way. As with any natural product, the quality and flavour substances of vanilla pods are influenced by climatic conditions and cultivation practices, which we subject to an auditing procedure.
