Another successful event of AKRAS Flavours in Dubai

AKRAS Flavours was once again represented at the Gulfood Manufacturing trade fair from 7th – 9th of November 2023 at the Dubai World Trade Center.

The Gulfood Manufacturing trade exibition in Dubai regularly provides an excellent opportunity to present new market trends. This year, AKRAS Flavours once again presented innovative products that are of great interest not only internationally, but also for the Middle East market in particular.

Among many other product concepts, refreshing drinks for diabetics and rehydrating drinks with electrolytes were on show. However, healthy doesn’t always have to taste bland: this was demonstrated by the tropical flavour of the sports drink with pineapple, kiwi and physalis. Continuing in the athletic theme AKRAS presented the Ion Supply Rehydrating Drinks with sea salt in two flavours: watermelon & lemon and apricot & lychee.

Bubble Gum Soda and Cherry Cola provided a sweet temptation for in between. Not to be forgotten, however, was the Purple Basil drink, whose sweet and tart notes of basil turned it into an indulgent drink for any occasion. The pomegranate and cherry juice with natural fructose from concentrate is a strong contender. However, the highlight was the new vegan AKRAS development: almond milk with apple blossom flavour, which is a taste journey for the palate. Of course, there were also various confectionery products with unusual flavour combinations that are perfect for the Middle Eastern market.
